Chargers and cables: what to buy, what to skip (2026)

Shopping for a charger on Amazon.in? This hub collects every charger Buyrskip has checked and sorts them the only way that matters: buy it, or skip it. 3 of the 3 models here earn a straight buy; the rest are worth considering only in some homes. USB-C fast chargers and cables compared on wattage, GaN technology, safety and multi-device charging.

What decides it

Wattage: 20 to 30 W suits phones; 65 W GaN chargers handle a laptop and phone together. Standard: USB-C Power Delivery works with iPhones, Android phones and most laptops. Safety: BIS certification and over-voltage protection matter with unstable power.

The models we would buy

Start with the Anker 735 Nano II 65 W GaN: 65 W GaN charger with three ports. The Samsung 25 W USB-C Charger is the better buy if you own a Samsung phone. Usual prices run from ₹599 to ₹4,999. Buying a charger in India

Many new phones in India ship without a charger, so a certified USB-C PD charger from a known brand is a safer buy than unbranded roadside chargers. Prices on Amazon.in move in a pattern. The deepest cuts land in the Great Indian Festival (around Navratri and Diwali), Prime Day in July and the Republic Day sale in January, usually with extra bank-card discounts and no-cost EMI. Judge a deal against the usual price we show, never against the MRP.

Quick answers

Will a fast charger damage my battery? No, the phone controls how much power it accepts. Heat is the real enemy, so avoid charging under pillows. What is GaN? Gallium nitride chargers are smaller and run cooler, so a 65 W GaN charger fits in a pocket.

Order from Amazon itself or the brand's own storefront so the India warranty applies, keep the GST invoice and register the product with the brand straight away. For ACs, geysers, chimneys and purifiers, ask whether installation and the demo visit are free before you pay.

How we make the call: we read spec sheets, manuals and warranty terms, check how good the service network is in India and track the usual Amazon.in price. A product gets “Buy” only if we would tell a friend to buy it at that price. Brands cannot pay for a verdict.
